This document gathers the main characteristics of the funerary occupation in the ager Tarraconensis mainly documented between the 1rst and 7th century AD. The most important funerary sites are speci ed as well as the cultural changes shown in the funerary rituals. This initial approach to a reality which is still in process of knowledge re ects ideological evolution inside the Tarraconense society and also habitat and land use transformations.
